We are located in the southern tip of the Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia.   We take pride in raising AKC registered European type Cream Golden Retrievers with a true passion and love of the breed along with everything involved in the process of caring for and raising our gorgeous puppies and their parents. We value all aspects of breeding as equally important and worthy. Overall health, genetics, structure, and temperament are carefully considered before a breeding takes place.  Our goal is to provide exceptional value to the breed creating dogs that work for you as nicely outside of the home as in it.   We have been faithful to the Golden breed for 29 years and have recently begun the joy of raising the European type standard cream.  These dogs typically have a shorter, heavier stature, straight top line, impressive large block heads and short muzzle, topped off with the gentle and loving demeanor we have all grown to love and expect of the breed.  We have imported some of the best dogs direct to us for our program from very well known and respected kennels in both Ukraine and Serbia and they carry international championship bloodlines on all of their sire and dams. Both kennels have maintained a close relationship with Timberstone and are a valuable resource to us.

Here at Timberstone we feel strongly about continuing the legacy of the Golden Retriever. As stated,  We have carefully chosen quality Goldens with amazing temperaments and impressive Champion pedigrees for our breeding program. We do our very best to provide you with healthy puppies by making sure all of our dams and sires are health tested. We are also fortunate in that we are located in proximity to one of the best (we say THE BEST) reproductive veterinary clinics in the nation, and they have monitored our dogs and breeding schedule since we began.  

 Our Goldens are true to the conformation of the English breed standard with beautiful structure, thick shorter muzzles, blocky heads and a disposition of loyalty, gentleness, and desire to please.  

Our dogs are family, they live inside our home with us, they are beside us every day.  If you were to see one of us out and about, the chances are you will see one or more of our dogs with us. They are our companions, and we earnestly strive to produce the healthiest and happiest of Golden Retriever puppies starting from birth and continuing as long as they are in our care and presented to you. Lastly, at the heart of our breeding program is the desire to offer puppies with the potential to become high quality service and therapy dogs or simply your most trusted friend. We have been fortunate to partner with Freedom Dogs of America for placing some of our qualified pups in their program providing therapy dogs for those with Autism, mobility impairment and veterans who suffer with PTSD.  We follow their recommended puppy socialization calendar along with  utilizing the ESI (Early Scent Introduction) and ENS Bio Sensor program for Early Neurological Stimulation, also known as the "Super Dog" program. We continue with age appropriate confidence building curriculum and gentle handling exercises.

 One of the many benefits of being a small scale breeder is that we are able to give each of our dogs and  puppies the one on one time and attention that they need and deserve.  Once your puppy is ready to leave his or her pack  we also offer an optional 10 day extended board and train with North Georgia K9. Imagine bringing home your new puppy who has already gotten a jump start on being your perfect pet!  We are very glad to have them associated with our program. We have several training packages to choose from.
